I received a call yesterday on my cell, the person claimed to be calling fro Amazon security in Ohio, he said they noticed estranged activity in my account. That someone was trying to make a purchase of $1,299 and they had stopped it it because it was suspicious. I happened to had placed four orders from Amazon a few minutes prior to that call. The person had my wife's name as well, he sounded almost real. I could hear many other conversations in the background using the word Amazon during their conversations, it sounded busier than a real customer service office. This was a major scam, well organized and planned. The person tries to get the victim/me to grant access using Ultra Viewer, then they proceed to steal information from your electronic device, computer of phone. This people are good at it, that is their job, they pray on innocent users. So, I called Amazon, they confirmed that they DO NOT CALL CUSTOMERS on the phone. That it was not them, to disregard the call and not to worry.
